NVMI Positive Attitudes equal Positive Results

NVMI Positive Attitudes equal Positive Results

Gina Wilson, Dean of Students

As we continue to travel along this very strange “new normal” I am thinking as always about school culture and what we can do to make it better. I understand the stress of having to balance a 40+ hour a week job, being a mom, caring for someone who has health issues and the stress that Covid-19 adds to that.

Most of the time I feel like I am giving 100% to all of those things…but am I really? Maybe I’m only giving 98%. Hmmm.

Here is my challenge to all NVMI community members – staff, students, parents, caregivers:

Three. I challenge us all to send 3 emails a week to one of our community members letting them know that you appreciate their hard work. I did that today, and I feel so much more positive about my day!! I feel happy that maybe I helped someone else have a better day. It took me about 10 minutes total for all 3.
