Top 5 Performances at the Grammys 2021

Britany Medina , Staff Writer

Last Sunday night was the annual 2021 Grammy awards. In today’s list, we are going to rank the top 5 performances. Who will be ranked first?

#5.)Billie Eilish

At #5, we have second time record of the year winner Billie Eilish performing “Everything I Wanted” alongside her brother Finneas.  Her voice was amazing as always, as was the stage set.   There was a car that was “submerged underwater’’ just like her music video. I also like the fact that the stage had a green mist to it to match her hair and represent the water.

#4.)Taylor Swift

Making history with her third win for album of the year “Folklore”, at #4, we have Taylor Swift.  She performed her songs “Cardigan,” “August,” and “Willow.” If I were to say what was my favorite part overall, besides her singing, was how beautiful and mesmerizing the stage setup looked. It was like a magical forest.

#4.)Dua Lipa

At #3, we have Dua Lipa, along with DaBaby,  performing her songs “Levitating” and “Don’t Start Now.”  I have to say the highlight of her performance was her three beautiful /radiant pink outfits. Her energy was through the roof Sunday night. It was an overall good performance.

#2.)Harry Styles

Winning a Grammy award for Pop Solo Performance, Harry Styles performed “Watermelon Sugar” at the Grammys. His outfit was awesome, especially the green boa he wore around his neck falling over his leather suit. Finally, his dance moves and vocals stole the show. It was a performance that did not disappoint.

#1.) Megan Thee Stallion

“Tonight is my first time at the Grammys, but it’s not my first time entertaining you,” Megan Thee Stallion stated before she took the stage with her amazing music performance of “Body” and “Savage.”  The outfits of  Megan and her backup dancers were out of this world, Just by looking at them, I felt like I was in the roaring ’20s. The dancing was also the highlight of her performance, kudos to all her backup dancers, especially the tap-dancers, they were just, wow. I got to say, this performance was “the best” of the night of the 63rd Grammy Awards.
