Wednesday, November 11 at 12 p.m. EDT from the Virtual Concert Hall via Livestream, your United States Coast Guard Band offers “A Tribute to Veterans Day,” a lively program featuring the Band’s Clarinet Quartet. This livestream event is dedicated to all veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Through the Virtual Concert Hall, the Coast Guard Band remains committed to representing the men and women of our service and highlighting the talents of our excellent musicians. On the program is music from “Pineapple Poll” by Arthur Sullivan, the famous “Clarinet Polka,” the 4th movement of Dvorak’s “American Quartet,” the “St. Louis Blues,” by W.C. Handy, and more. The Coast Guard Band Clarinet Quartet includes Chief Musician Chantal Hovendick, and Musicians 1st Class Christopher Howard, Steven Zhang and Robert Durie.
