Self-Confidence

During this time of your life, as you figure out who you are and what you want out of life, developing self-confidence is a key skill. I say skill because yes, you can learn to be more self-confident. There are many things you can do to promote self-confidence. Positive self-talk, positive affirmations you say to yourself every day, improving your mind, body and spirit will give you self-confidence and at the end of the day relationships and self-confidence come down to one simple idea:

Self-confidence is not deciding who you want to date and making it happen. Self-confidence is deciding who you want to date and being 100% okay with who you are if it doesn’t work out the way you planned.

You can be sad that it didn’t work out, you can be angry if it ended badly, but you need to be 100%  that who you are as a person is not why it didn’t work out.
